Equation models
An equation model is a model that consists of a number of typed equations. A typical equation model takes the form:
acceleration = force/mass velocity = acceleration dposition/dt = velocity
An equation model is created in the Equation Editor. Once finished, you can use your equation model as a full, stand alone, simulation model. Also, you can use your equation model as part of a compound model, by dragging the equation model into a Compound Model. For information on how to do this, see: Modifying a Compound Model.
