Monitoring

Using the Monitoring tool, learners can log the experiments they performed with the simulation. In this way they can try to find relation between certain variables. As the author, you can specify which variables should be logged by the monitoring tool. You can also specify the maximum number of experiments the Monitoring Tool can contain.

Modifying the Monitoring Tool

To alter the properties of the Monitoring Tool:

1.	Select the Monitoring element in the application window.

2.	Click right and choose Edit.

Tab sheet: General

1.	Select the General tab sheet. Optionally:

2.	Type a description of this element that can be seen in the learner environment.

3.	Select the language for this element.

Tab sheets: Control On & Control Overview

Tab sheet: Specification

1.	From the menu that appears, Select the Specification tab sheet.

2.	In the Enter the maximum number of experiments in the list box, type the maximum number of experiments.

3.	In the View column, click which variables you want the learner to be able to see.

4.	Click Apply.
