Hypothesis List

The Hypothesis List is a tool that allows the author to suggest several hypotheses to the learner. It is used when two learners work together in SimQuest by SimQuest meeting.

The learners task is to investigate whether or not this hypothesis is true, preferably by using the simulation.

Modifying the Hypothesis List

1.	Select the Hypothesis List element in the application window.

2.	Click right and choose Edit.

Tab sheet: General

1.	Select the General tab sheet. Optionally:

2.	Type a description of this element that can be seen in the learner environment.

3.	Select the language for this element.

Tab sheet: Specification

Adding a hypothesis:

1.	Type a hypothesis in the text box behind "hypothesis:".

2.	Click Add.

3.	Optional: Select the hypothesis and drag an already specified assignment in the assignment field behind the new hypothesis.

4.	Click Apply.

Removing a hypothesis:

1.	Select the hypothesis.

2.	Click Remove.

3.	Click Apply.

Saving a hypothesis list:

You have to save the hypothesis list as a text file on your hard drive before it can be used.

1.	Click the Save button (floppy disk icon).

2.	Specify a file name.

3.	Click Save.

Opening a saved hypothesis list

1.	Click the Open button.

2.	Select a hypothesis list file.

3.	Click Open.

4.	Add assignments (see above).

5.	Click Apply.
